POZZOLANA FLEX is a water insulating material which is cement based, two component and acrylic reinforced. To make the application surface (the concrete) as water impermeable concrete, the two components shall be mixed at the site and shall be applied onto the surface as two layers (1 layer of prime coat and 1 layer of Pozzolana Flex) by a brush. POZZOLANA FLEX can be applied successfully at the foundation walls and terrace roofs. There is no need for any additional insulation protection measures at the foundation walls. Building fills can be done just after the insulation process. At the terrace applications, a protective coating for UV lights shall be done. For the positive applications, 5 kg prime coats with 1.2 kg powder and liquid mixture shall be used per meter square. For the negative applications, these quantities can increase according to the water pressure.

It can be directly applied to the moist or wet surfaces. Application workmanship is easy and it is cost effective. The insulation application can be finished in a short time due to the ease of application. When compared to the other insulation materials, its opportunity to apply in winter is more. It protects the concrete and reinforcement. It does not remove the breathing ability of the concrete and it is not toxic.

The application surface shall be cleaned and washed with acid if required. Afterwards the surface shall be moisturized and the prepared primer shall be applied by one layer. The mixture formed of powder and liquid shall be mixed and one layer shall be applied onto the surface by a brush. After the first layer prime application is finished, the necessary moisturizing shall be done on the following day and the second layer shall be applied. The second layer shall be applied perpendicular to the first layer. The segregation areas which can be on the surface of the concrete shall be repaired prior to the application and the tie rod holes shall be filled with TIE � ROD fill material with care.

  It is packed in propylene bags of 30 kg or in plastic buckets of 20 kg. It can be stored on the shelf for 13 months if preserved at 7�C and dry mediums.
